Sachin's Detailed Post On MI's Win Over RCB Mentions Both Hardik And Rohit

Mumbai Indians continued their winning run in the IPL 2024 with a comfortable victory over Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Thursday. It was a welcome result for the side that lost their first three matches in the competition resulting in negative reactions from a section of the fanbase. Following the victory, team mentor Sachin Tendulkar took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to write a detailed post regarding the match and both Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya found a mention in the analysis.

"Two wins on the trot now for @mipaltan after a tricky start to the tournament. @Jaspritbumrah93 was sensational, once again proving why he's the best in the business. @ImRo45 and @ishankishan51 's fearless batting during the powerplay overs effectively reduced the required run rate. It was good to see @surya_14kumar hitting the ball so sweetly after his injury layoff. Lovely to have him back in the team, playing in top gear. @hardikpandya7 finishing the game off in style was the icing on the cake," he posted.

Coming to the match, Jasprit Bumrah claimed his second IPL five-wicket haul but good batting performances from Faf Du Plessis and Dinesh Karthik took RCB to a big total of 196/8.

In reply, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan provided the perfect start to the run chase with Suryakumar Yadav providing a late flourish with an explosive half-century. It was a big result for skipper Hardik Pandya who was once again on the receiving end of booing from the crowd at the Wankhede Stadium.
